We had a great turnout for our September 24 “Leaves and Laughter” Trivia Night, with 20 teams signed up to play in hopes of getting their team’s name . . .

posted next to our giant Trivia Night trophy that usually resides in the Coronado Center library.

Our special thanks go to ReMax of Hot Springs Village for being the overall sponsor of this Trivia Night, as well as to a long-time library patron (who wishes to remain anonymous) for donating a table so that eight lucky individuals could play together for free!
While all the teams did really well in answering questions in our ten different categories, ranging from famous cars in pop culture, to famous singers who left us too young, to famous logos from popular brands, and lots more, the winning team was “Faris Strikes Again”, with team members Julie Slaughter, Aidan Slaughter, Jim Tregea, Nathan Slaughter, Sue Hurley, Ray Hurley and Meghan Hurley.

Here are the final scores from all teams, showing how close it was, with a three-way tie for second place, and another team very close behind them!

The winners of the Tailgating Table challenge was “Just for Grins”, with team members Laura Stigall, Helen Haessely, Janis Rowe, Marjie Burditt, Bob Burditt, Carolyn Nee and Mike Nee taking home the champagne!

Our winner of the 50/50 raffle was Angel Brinker, whose $1 ticket earned her $205 from the drawing!

And lots of people went home with great door prizes from our generous sponsors!

We hope everyone had a wonderful time in supporting the Coronado Center Library and hope to see you in April for our next Trivia Night!
