Our Summer Reading Program Ends With A Badge!

Our library’s summer reading program for kids certainly ended with a badge this week, when Hot Springs Village Police Chief Kristi Bennett and Sergeant Kevin Chambers came to visit!

Chief Bennett and Sergeant Chambers talked about what the police do here in Hot Springs Village. Then Chief Bennett read some fun stories about the police. And librarian Amy Kirk helped kids create their very own make-believe police badges!

Thank you to Chief Bennett and Sergeant Chambers for making this a memorable summer reading program morning, and thank you to all the parents and grandparents who brought their kids and allowed us to take these pictures. And a special thank you to all the kids who came and made this summer reading program the best ever!!
